I'm Barbara St. Georges, owner of Briar-Brae Cattery. I've been a Manx breeder and CFA Allbreed cat judge for the Cat Fanciers' Association, Inc. (more commonly known as CFA, the world's largest cat registy) for forty five years. Briar-Brae was chosen for the name of my Cattery because it was the the street my husband and I lived on in our first home together in Stamford, Connecticut. We lived there from 1950 to 1960, had five kids in that home and one on the way before moving to a much larger house. Currently, my Manx catsand I reside in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.

I have CFA registered Manx kittens for sale from time to time. I specialize in short hair, but have produce long hair in some of my litters, in the past. Colors I get are mostly bi-color, with solids every so often. On occasion I have older/retired registered cats available. I ship within the US and Internationally. I place all of my kittens with a Sales Contract and insist they be "INSIDE ONLY" cats and "NEVER" be declawed.

All tailless cats, aren't Manx cats, they have to have a specific origin and ancestry to the Isle of Man where Manx cats orginated to be actual Manx cats. Within my site you'll find lots of pictures, breed information as well as the status of the kittens I have available for pets and show.

Pricing usually depends on type (pet/show/breeder), applicable markings, bloodlines and quality (Grand Champion or Grand Premier (GC or GP), National, Regional or Breed Winner (NW, RW or BW) or of Distinguished Merit (DM) parentage). The GC or GP title is achieved by the cat defeating 200 champions for the GC title or 75 Premiers for the Premier title. National, Regional or Breed Win titles are achieved by the cat scoring on a national regional or breed level. The DM title is achieved by the dam (mother) having produced five CFA grand champion/grand premier (alter) or DM offspring, or sire (father) having produced fifteen CFA grand champion/grand premier or DM offspring.

My kittens become available at twelve weeks of age. They are sold with an altering agreement before being placed. After twelve weeks my kittens have had their basic inoculations, they have developed the physical and social stability needed for a new environment, showing, or being transported by air.

Keeping such a rare treasure indoors, neutering or spaying and providing acceptable surfaces (e.g. scratching posts) for the natural behavior of scratching (CFA and I disapprove of declawing or tendonectomy surgery) are essential elements for maintaining a healthy, long and joyful life in your cat.
